Support Lonesome Larry's Celebration of Life

My name is Lori Allen and I was Lonesome Larry Williams' partner and business partner for over 25 years. Together, we ran The Whip radio station, both in its terrestrial form at 98.3 FM and at backlandradio.com. Larry passed away January 13, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.

Please join our friends Chicago Farmer and Blaggards as we commemorate, love and remember Lonesome Larry, The Last DJ. We are raising funds for his Celebration of Life, Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Rose Bowl Tavern in downtown Urbana, IL. Doors open at noon, Chicago Farmer begins the Celebration at 1pm CST followed by Blaggards. There is no cover charge but donations are appreciated. If you can't make Larry's Celebration of Life the event will be streamed live online at backlandradio.com. Thank you all so much.
