Update: after review at the emergency vet, it has been revealed that the breaks are old but she was recently shot. This is a young dog that has been tormented during her short life. She is still fighting!

Another day, another neglected dog. This morning a friend found a badly injured dog at her gate. She lives in a rural area so a dog would have had to travel very far to get to the gate. The poor dog has injuries consistent with being hit by a car and then someone left her by a gate. She was suffering and in pain so the finder got her to a vet for evaluation. The vet confirmed she has a broken leg and she needs X-rays, pain meds, antibiotics, and fluids because she is very weak. She is being moved to a vet with 24/7 care that can also perform surgery on her injuries.

The dog is very sweet and we are trying to give her to best chance possible to survive. Emergency care and surgery is expensive. Lola's Lucky Day is backing this pup and it is not going to be cheap. If you can donate anything at all, it will be greatly appreciated. Her evaluation bill from this morning was over $200 - we don’t have the estimate from the emergency and surgeon yet.
