Meet Lola.

She’s our silly, joyful 4-year-old dog who lights up every room and loves everyone she meets. Lola has always been full of life—she loves wrestling, belly rubs, and snuggling under blankets with us and her brothers.

But everything changed suddenly this past Saturday when she became critically ill. We rushed her to Mosaic Emergency Animal Hospital, where the incredible veterinary team has been working around the clock to help her. Despite their efforts, her condition remains a mystery. Her body is under attack—something is destroying her red blood cells and flooding her bloodstream with dangerous levels of bilirubin.

This morning, things took a heartbreaking turn. Lola began showing neurological symptoms, and the vets urged us to transfer her to the Colorado State University veterinary hospital for specialized care with an internal medicine team.

We’ve already spent over $4,000 on her emergency care, and her treatment at CSU could cost double that—or more. The financial strain is overwhelming, but we will do everything we can to save her.

Lola is more than a pet—she’s family. She’s our constant companion, our emotional support, and our source of endless love. We can’t imagine life without her.
