Support Lola's and the Abreu Family

Just after New Years, Felix, Lola's Husband, was admitted to the ICU with a new diagnosis of Diabetes. Since then his condition has been complicated by issue after issue. He is now very seriously ill. Naturally, this has turned their world upside down. The restaurant depends on both Felix and Lola. Since the start of this illness, the warrior in Lola has rallied to fill both of their big shoes to keep Lola's open. Anyone who has owned a small business knows how hard it is when someone gets sick. She is only allowed 30 minutes a day to visit him, which must be scheduled in the evening, the restaurant's busiest time. As her friends and neighbors, we have encouraged her to accept this Go Fund Me so that she feels free to focus on her very sick husband and worried kids. The whole family has given back to this community so many times, in so many ways. We now have the opportunity to give back to them.
