Hi, my name is Mickey and I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times in our lives.

My beloved cat, Loki, is currently hospitalized in emergency care at Sage Veterinary in San Francisco.

Loki been with us through so many ups and downs, always there for us with his playful energy, and unconditional love. Right now, he's fighting through a serious medical issue that required urgent inpatient treatment, urinary catheter placement, multiple tests, fluids, and more.

The current vet bill is over $7,000, and while we do have pet insurance, it unfortunately doesn’t cover the full amount. To lower the bill we requested for Loki to stay for 48 hours and allow them to collect data and for some research to lower the bill, but vet recommend that he may need 72 hours for the best chance but we just can't afford that.

How will this fund be use?

If everything goes well with Lemonade insurance, they’ll cover up to $4250. After the $250 deductible and our 10% co-pay, we’ll be paying about $750 out of pocket.

But Loki’s total bill is estimated to be over $7,000, so anything beyond the $5,000 limit will be our full responsibility.
