Support Lokelani 'Ohana Farm recovery after Kona storm

Tax deductible
Aloha everyone! My name is Christina Chang am I am asking for your support for Lokelani 'Ohana Farm in Waihe’e, that got hammered during the low Kona Storms. I belong to a non profit board of directors for this organization. My 79 year old ex-husband, 43 year old daughter with cerebral palsy and autism and I are stewards of the farm. This beautiful aina was a land award in 1853 from King Kamehameha IV. We need your help! Please! Our Biodynamic Farms, nursery and greenhouse were torn apart by the high winds, our farm, farm kitchen, paths, everything was flooded. My ex-husband fell off a ladder during the storm and has a cerebral concussion and is unable to work. I take care of our daughter seven days a week and we’re very shortstaffed on our farm. We are unable to do much at this time except Harvest and get bananas, coconuts, and seasonal fruits out to our community. i’m asking for you to please support the restoration of the Farm! We need help to clean up unhealthy stagnant water, restore the nursery, greenhouse, farm kitchen, walkways, clean up all the fallen trees, repair two roofs, clean out all the fallen fruit trees and restore our spirits to better serve our community again. We are so grateful for any and all support, including prayers and interested people volunteering to help us with our restoration project. Our loving thoughts goes out to everyone, everywhere and deep appreciation for all the help that has been given and well given to us and others who suffered from the low Kona storms.

Lokelani "Ohana is a non profit organization, and besides being a biodynamic farm Lokelani ‘Ohana creates socially therapeutic programs within our community with elements of native Hawaiian culture and tradition for adults with developmental disabilities.

The funds we are raising will be used for cleaning up the paths and the farm from flooding, fallen trees, cut and chip branches, restore damaged greenhouse and nursery, mulch 150 fallen bananas, replant beds. For that we need to hire some professional help.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Any and all donations can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.❤️️

If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to all of us and those we serve.
