Aloha everyone! My name is Christina Chang. Please support Lokelani 'Ohana Farm in Waihe’e, that suffered multiple losses during the low Kona Storms. I belong to a non profit board of directors for this organization. We feed our Maui community and host educational programs including adults with developmental disabilities. We need your help!

Our Biodynamic Farms, nursery and greenhouse were torn apart by the high winds, farm kitchen, paths, everything was flooded. Our lead banana farmer fell off a ladder during the storm, suffered a cerebral concussion and is unable to work. We need help to clean up unhealthy stagnant water, restore the nursery, greenhouse, farm kitchen, walkways, clean up all the fallen trees, repair two roofs, clean out all the fallen fruit trees and restore our spirits to better serve our community again. We are so grateful for any and all support, including people volunteering to help us with our restoration project. Our loving thoughts and deep appreciation for any and all support.

Lokelani "Ohana is a non profit organization, and besides being a biodynamic farm Lokelani ‘Ohana creates socially therapeutic programs within our community with elements of native Hawaiian culture and tradition for adults with developmental disabilities.

The funds we are raising will be used for cleaning up the paths and the farm from flooding, fallen trees, cut and chip branches, restore damaged greenhouse and nursery, mulch 150 fallen bananas, replant beds. For that we need to hire some professional help.
