Support Lois Tamel's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On May 19th, Ann was notified that her mom, Lois Tamel, was experiencing a medical emergency.

When she arrived at the hospital in Tomball, TX, the medical team began emergency evaluations.

They administered a CAT Scan and 3 MRIs.

Over the next several hours and into the next day, she experienced 3 stroke clusters.

It was determined that on the left side of her brain, there was narrowing of the main artery that feeds the smaller vessels deep into her brain.

These strokes caused loss of mobility on her right side. Her arm and leg experienced decreased mobility.

Her speech has also been affected.

The next steps are rehab along with in-home care, there is much hope for continued recovery.

We have been asked how others could help, we start first with prayer and encouragement.

We also prayerfully ask for support in helping cover the many immediate deductibles tied to insurance.

We are also looking to have a nurse provide additional in-home care beyond evaluation.

The photo shows Mom in her favorite moment, her directing her church choir.

She is fondly remembered as Choir director at Parkway Apostolic Church in Oak Creek, WI.

My father-in-law, Buddy Tamel, is also still with us. He is 94 years old.

This is being hosted by Ann and Nathan Eckstadt as a support of Buddy and Lois Tamel.

God bless you all.

Updates will be provided over the next months, we know miracles are on the way.
