About a month ago, after being very sick for a while, we decided to take our daughter to the hospital. I am happy we went, but we were given some horrendous news! Something that has hit our family very, very hard! Logen was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer at 28 years old.
On the way home from the hospital on that day of diagnosis, the motor in their only vehicle blew. Their little family has really been hit hard!
Now that treatments have started, the expenses are adding up quickly. We have to take her to Columbia every day for radiation treatments. Monday, she had to go to Kansas for a consultation for internal radiation, which will start after her six weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. It could end up being a week stay at the hospital in Kansas for that radiation treatment.
With all the expenses for fuel, food, trying to fix their car or get a different car and get it legal, diapers for the baby, and maintaining their household, any help for them would be so very appreciated!
