My name is Amanda a single mom on Monday january 27,2025 @ about 4pm in manchester, ct my 12 yr old son Logan was riding his electric scooter when he was struck by a car on the cornor of hillard and adam at. He was thrown off his scooter all of his clothes and shoes were cut off. He was transported to CCMC where he stayed for 5 days. He had major surgery reparing a broken femur and has been learning how to walk all over again. He also has a fractured wrist which is making things a bit more complicated to move around. He will be wheel chair bound for school and activities. Unable to work during his hospital stay and having to change my schedule for arter care needs we have suffered a loss of wages. There is medical equipment that he needs and items that are needed any little bit helps.
