Logan is autistic and nonverbal. Logan has had lots of changes in behavior over the last several months. Logan was admitted to Riley on Wednesday due to him refusing food and drink and becoming extremely lethargic. He has lost a significant amount of weight and the doctors are still trying to figure out what caused him to stop eating and drinking. He has had several tests and scans completed to rule different things out. Logan went through surgery for a g tube to be placed so he can get the nutrition he needs while the doctors continue to search for answers as to why he isn’t eating by mouth. Due to Logan’s genetic condition and autism, he’s being seen by Gastroenterology, Neuro, and Psychiatry to figure out next steps.

On top of all this, Eric and Savanna are caring for their newborn at the hospital. Savanna was supposed to return to work from her maternity leave last Sunday, and she has used her allotted FMLA and PTO on maternity leave.
