In late July 2024, our world shifted once my best friend’s 16-year-old son, Logan, was diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukemia). The fear was overwhelming, but she decided to face it head-on, embracing the treatment process with a positive attitude, leaning on her family’s support, and finding strength in the small moments of joy that still exist.

They are only 7 months into this journey to recovery, and unfortunately, the cost of treatments, hospital stays, scans, prescriptions, lab work, and transfusions is mounting. Also, getting to and from the hospital, which is 1.5 hours away one way, adds to the burden. They are trying to remain strong for Logan, but need our help.
