Hello Everyone,
I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our son, Logan. On January 3, he was admitted to the hospital and told he was in renal failure. Over the past three months, he has endured hospital stays, two surgeries, and outpatient dialysis treatment. His condition has now progressed to end-stage renal disease (Stage 5). This means that he WILL need to have a kidney transplant. Until a donor is found, he will continue to do dialysis from home for 8 hours each night. He also has very strict diet and lifestyle restrictions that he needs to follow.
If you know Logan, you know his quiet strength and stubborn determination. He's doing everything asked of him, and we are so proud of his bravery and fighting spirit. Having his life turned upside down and not being able to work for the past 3 months has been incredibly frustrating for him. Costs are mounting faster than he/we can keep up, and preparing for long-term treatment is a lot for any 24-year-old to handle. The reality of the situation has been an emotional roller coaster for him and all of us.
Funds raised will help cover essential expenses impacted by end-stage renal disease, including:
- Medical expenses and supplies not fully covered by insurance.
- Temporary loss of income when treatment or caregiving requires time away from work.
- Lodging and transportation during appointments and procedures.
- Any immediate needs and basic living expenses that help keep Logan on track with appointments and care.
How You Can Help
Any support you're able to give Logan will help him focus on his health rather than financial stress. Donations, sharing this page, sending messages of encouragement, and of course your prayers, all mean so very much to us! Thank you for your kindness and support!
