Support Locke's Journey to Adoption
Donation protected
For the past 6 months, we have been working effortlessly to get this poor baby removed from living in a neglected environment with no shade, no food, and no water. We have been consistently filing multitudes of animal control reports, Fort Lauderdale police reports, and even had a PETA officer on this case. “Locke” has lived outside in the Florida heat on a 5ft x 5ft concrete pad with a metal makeshift doghouse for his entire 2 years of his life. He has never had the opportunity to receive any love or care from a human. We finally got a FLPD to remove him and bring him to Broward County Animal Shelter where he remains EXTREMELY stressed out in a cage. They have him on anxiety medication as well. My husband and I are going to pay out of pocket for him to be trained so that he has a higher chance of being adopted out. His training process is going to take about a month or two until he starts to trust humans again. His previous owner never had any interaction with him besides to beat him.
Your donation means the world to us as sending him to a training facility is not a cheap expense.
If you know of anyone interested in this sweet boy, PLEASE reach out!!!
