Support Local St. Pete Coconut Business Hurricane Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Tariq Moore owner of Caribbean Quenched. We’re a small family run business based out of St. Pete Florida. We have been providing the greater part of Pinellas County with nature’s most perfect beverage, Florida-grown coconuts. We do festivals, farmers markets and catering .
We also specialize in island style mock-tails and Caribbean inspired drinks featuring fruits that are unique to the tropics. Fruits like soursop, guava, and passion fruit. Herbs like moringa, hibiscus, blue spirulina, and butterfly pea. Even sugarcane juice, full of important minerals. is fresh pressed and served with ice on a typical market day. None of our drinks have harmful dyes or corn syrup, so customers can feel at ease when browsing the menu.
However, with this unprecedented hurricane season, we find ourselves in a precarious position. Flooding from Hurricane Helene has destroyed the beach tourism that birthed our company. The record-breaking damage to the small businesses along the coast has put a stop to our distribution efforts. The storms caused weeks' worth of farmers markets to be closed. And the festivals that gave us hope of future revenue have been canceled due to damages left in the wake of Hurricane Milton.
After over a month of little to no income, we find ourselves at a loss of how to continue. Bills and fees have piled up and relief efforts so far have barely scratched the surface. Now we humbly ask for support from our community, so that we can keep our doors open. Any donation goes along way and is appreciated beyond measure.
