Support local Police Officer

On February 1st, 2022 Police Officer Alex Echevarria left work after feeling ill and subsequently suffered a stroke three days later. Officer Echevarria was treated for neurological complications at a local hospital.

Due to this unfortunate incident, Alex’s memory, speech, and motor functions were affected. Alex is currently recovering at a medical rehabilitation facility with his wife Jessica at his side.

In order to ease Alex’s road to recovery, we created this page to facilitate donations from anyone that would like to help. All donations will be provided to Alex directly to assist with amounting bills. In the upcoming weeks, Alex will have exceeded his pay leave and will have to rely on state disability. Alex is a wonderful colleague and friend to the Dover Police Department and Town of Dover. Alex and his family will be genuinely appreciative of your prayers and support during this trying time.
