Hi, my name is Emilija.
What you can see in the photos is everything that is left from my father’s and his wife’s farm, located in Lithuania. For 15 years, my father and his wife poured their hearts into building this farm. What started as a dream became their life’s work - a peaceful place filled with goats and sheep, and a small dairy business producing handmade cheeses and other products with love and care.
This farm was never just a source of income. It contributed to the local economy, and my father’s dedication and ethical approach to farming were recognized and appreciated by the local government. He even received awards for his work. They knew the names of every goat and sheep and cared for them so deeply that they chose to treat and heal each animal rather than sending them to slaughter, living their values as truly ethical farmers.
It was their pride, their dream, and the result of years of early mornings, long days, and endless dedication.
On February 6th, a fire destroyed the barn where most of their animals were kept. 22 goats and sheep didn’t survive. The official cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit. The flames spread quickly, and there was nothing that could stop it in time.
My father was there, trying to save them. He suffered burns and injuries and now needs time and medical care to recover, while also facing the overwhelming loss of almost everything he and his wife built together.
What you see in the first photo is all that remains of the farm they spent 15 years building: ashes, burned beams, and the remains of beloved animals.
We are asking for your support to help my parents recover - to rebuild their farm, restore their main source of income, and begin to heal from this devastating loss. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help them take a step forward. And if you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your compassion, kindness, and support during the hardest time of our lives.
