Support Local Family Business After Fire

Hi everyone,

My name is Harley Edgley and my family owns JJ's Country Diner in Athens, ON.

As some of you may have heard our restaurant caught fire September 28th 2021.

My uncle and dad went into the restaurant to get ready for the day when they discovered the fire. The fire started in the office and moved to the attic.

The Athens Fire Department was quick on scene to contain and put the fire out but unfortunately the office is a total gut job and there is extensive smoke damage through out the entire restaurant.

We are looking at months of repairs and being closed.

We need your support now more than ever! This family restaurant has 13 employees that are now out of work, loss sales for who knows how long and extensive repairs to complete.

Please - whatever you can do or donate to help is appreciated. This is my parents dream and life that went up in flames. What started as a chip wagon 13 years ago turned into a restaurant - this business means the world to them.
