Support Local Artist Ewan Richards After Eaton Fire Loss

Hey everyone,

We’re the Richards family, and we’re starting this GoFundMe to help out the youngest in our family, Ewan. Ewan is one of the most talented artists we’ve ever known. He is constantly creating, leveling up his skills, and just finished his first semester at Art Center College of Design. He’s the kind of guy who fills up a sketchbook every other week and is constantly pushing his creativity.

Recently, Ewan lost everything. The house he’s been renting while going to school in Altadena completely burned down in the Eaton Fire. He came home for winter break a few weeks ago with just a bag of clothes - everything else is gone. All his art supplies, his digital tools, his school gear, his bed, and housewears—everything he uses to create and live—it’s all gone. The house was completely destroyed.

We’re hoping to raise money to help Ewan replace what he’s lost so he can keep chasing his dream. Art isn’t just something he does; it’s who he is. He’s been drawing since he could hold a pencil, and his work inspires everyone who sees it. He’s got this incredible spark, and it’s heartbreaking to see him lose all the tools that help him bring his ideas to life.

We’d love to be able to cover this for him on our own, but honestly, our family is in a time of transition. We’re between homes, between jobs, and working on getting back on our feet, so we just can’t swing it alone. That’s why we’re reaching out for help. Anything you can give—no matter how small—would mean so much to Ewan and to us. It’ll help him get back to creating, back to school, and back to doing what he loves most.
