We are asking for support during an unexpected and difficult time for our family.

On Wednesday, April 22nd, Lo suffered a stroke. At first, he believed he was okay and, true to his dedication, went right back to work - opening and running California Cafe Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. But on Sunday morning, while heading back to the restaurant, something was not right. An ambulance was called to our home, and he was rushed back to the hospital. He has been hospitalized since and is now focused on recovery.

Lo is a solo business owner. California Cafe depends on him being there every day. Right now, with him in the hospital, the cafe is temporarily closed - which means no income is coming in.

We are asking for help to support medical bills and hospital care, lost income while the restaurant is closed, and household and essential expenses during recovery.

California Cafe is more than a business - it is something Lo built for the community. His passion has always been creating a place where people feel welcome, connected, and taken care of.
