As many of you may already know, our dear friend Llew Richards was diagnosed with advanced melanoma shortly after he moved to New Zealand with his family. It's been a tough journey, and unfortunately, immunotherapy treatments and BRAF inhibitors have run their course. He has completed a course of high-dose targeted radiation therapy to possibly reduce the size of the tumors and increase his comfort for a time. Though they have depleted financial reserves, Llew and his family are incredibly grateful for the added time and quality of life these treatments have allowed.

Llew is a caring partner and devoted father to two awesome kids, ages 8 and 10. We want to help ease the family’s financial worries so they can focus on spending quality time with him during these precious months. We’re raising funds to help cover end-of-life care, medications, and childcare support for their two young kids. It would also allow Mica to take additional time off work to be with Llew.

If you don't know Llew personally, humor us for a moment. His warm and inviting personality puts you at ease, never once making you feel excluded. We have fond memories of playing board games with him late into the night, having conversations about anything and everything over some beers. Llew and his partner have been some of our dearest friends who’ve given so much to those around them, and now, it's our turn to do the same for them. If you can afford to contribute, big or small, it will make a meaningful difference. If not, helping us spread the word would mean the world to us.
