On Saturday 4th April, the Carlaw family’s lives changed forever.

Louis & Nyrie’s second son LJ, was involved in a severe accident at Alligators Nest, leaving him with significant injuries that now require ongoing, around the clock care. As any parent would, Louis & Nyrie are focusing all of their time, energy, and love on supporting LJ through what will be a long and challenging recovery.

LJ is the kind of person who always gives without a second thought. He has such a big heart -gentle, caring and always looking out for others. Anyone who knows him knows how special he is, and how deeply he is loved by those around him.

Anyone who knows Louis & Nyrie knows how incredibly hard they work to provide for their family. This sudden and life- altering situation has placed an unexpected emotional and financial burden on them, as they step away from work to be by LJ’s side and ensure he receives the care he needs.

There are many costs involved in LJ’s recovery, including medical expenses, travel, and daily living support. We are reaching out to our community, friends, family and anyone who can help to support the Carlaw family during this difficult time.
