If you know us, you for sure hear us talk about LJ all the time. He's the sweetest, kindest boy we could ever asked for. He is incredibly smart, and well behaved, but most of all, he is loved beyond what words can express, not only by us, but by everyone who meets him.
Recently LJ has been diagnosed with a form of bone cancer that is very aggressive and fast moving. In order to buy our best boy more time we have to make the hard decision to amputate the leg with the tumor. LJ is the most fun, loving and friendliest dog any of us have ever met so this wasn't a light decision to make, but it's the best path for him to manage and ease his pain. In addition to amputation, LJ will receive multiple rounds of chemotherapy to slow/stop the spread of the cancer, and to extend his life while giving him the best quality of life.
Not only is this decision incredibly hard but it's also very expensive so any help is greatly appreciated, and we promise as many LJ hugs or kisses as you can take when he's feeling better again. Thank you all so much for loving him, and for helping us give him the best care we can during these hard times.
