Support Lizzy Hicks' Fight Against Leukemia #LizzyStrong

Hello, my name is Stephanie Megel and trying to raise funds for a sweet dear friend, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Hicks. She was saddened with devastating new that has forever changed her life. She was diagnosed with APL Leukemia the day before Thanksgiving and at the very young age of just turning 30 years old. She has been hospitalized since then and had to stay in the hospital from Thanksgiving and was able to come home to her two young little girls on New Year’s Eve! No one was more excited for her to come back home than those two little girls! Needless to say, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s was a little different for the whole family this past year. During the five-week journey of staying at the hospital away from her babies, she has undergone a few biopsies, countless amounts of blood transfusions, plasma transfusions and completed her first round of chemo during her stay. Needless to say, she is one tough momma!

Lizzy is a very hard-working woman who devotes her life to her two young little girls, Letti and Alivia. Letti and Alivia are 10 and 7 years old. They could never imagine life without their mother! It is the most important thing to help get Lizzy better and to get over the most difficult thing they have experience yet. She needs to undergo another round of Chemo and that includes blood work, having a port placed and possibilities of more blood transfusions during the course of her 2nd round of chemo. HOPING for miracles for it to be her last round and be remission forever.

Needless to say, Lizzy is a very sweet, selfless person that will be willing to help anyone she possible can. Lizzy isn't the type of person that would ever ask for help. So, let's return the help that she may possibly need during this second round!

All funds will help go travel expensive, treatments and whatever bills she may have during this journey! She does have insurance, but insurance doesn’t cover a lot of these expensive. She has to travel back and forth during her 2nd round driving and hour there and an hour back. Due to everything that is happening, Lizzy won’t be able to return to work till about sometime in March.
