Hi, my name is Lizzy Brooks! If we haven’t met, I am a New York-based actor, professor, and tutor for neurodivergent children.

About a month ago, I was in a horrible accident that left me with three broken metatarsals in my left foot. One of the breaks was so severe that it spread into the joint. I was told I would need surgery and would possibly have arthritis in that foot for the rest of my life.

Because of this injury, I’ve had to cancel work and decline auditions. I’ve been able to pick up small virtual jobs or short gigs here and there, but it hasn’t been enough to keep up with piling medical bills and the cost of living. I know times are tough for everyone right now, so if you are able, anything helps. If you aren’t able to donate, even sharing this post increases visibility and helps spread the word!
