Lizzie Bennett has been a part of the Nevada archaeological and cultural resource management community for over 30 years, and now it’s time for that community to rally around her and her family. As many of you know, Lizzie has spent the last two years negotiating life with cancer but has received the news that none of us wanted for her. So, as friends and family, we are working together with Lizzie to help her take care of things as she prepares to go into hospice. Lizzie wants to do what she can in the upcoming months to offset the costs her kids, JB and Jenna, will face cleaning out her home of 30 years. Lizzie has always had a love for antiques and has collected numerous objects that need to be rehomed with people who have a shared appreciation for things that are beautiful, quirky, and historical. Along with finding new homes for her treasures, Lizzie needs to tackle some much-needed house repairs, all while moving in with her daughter.

The funds raised will support Lizzie and her children to:

• Clean out and repair her house; and

• Move Lizzie in with her daughter for hospice.

Anything left over will allow JB and Jenna to hold a celebration of life for Lizzie’s family and friends.
