On December 23rd, my sister Liz rapidly developed a severe headache with nausea out of nowhere to the point she was transported to the hospital by ambulance. There, we found that she has a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a bleed in the brain. She had to be Bayflighted to Tampa General Hospital and admitted to the NeuroSurgical ICU. They immediately had to place a drain to alleviate cranial pressure and performed an angiogram to stop the bleeding. They were unable to see the source of bleeding and have to reattempt at a later time when there will be better visualization.
At this time, they are saying to expect a minimum 2-week hospitalization. She is a single mom of three and this was the last thing anyone expected. With bills to pay and other necessity costs, we are asking for donations to please help her and her family through this difficult time. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
