Update 02/13
Yesterday marked a huge milestone in my journey. My second surgery was successful, and my surgeon was able to remove all of my endometriosis.
What they discovered, though, confirmed what I’ve been feeling for so long — my endometriosis was severe. It had spread more aggressively than expected, and because of how extensive it was, they also had to remove my appendix.
It’s validating in a way that’s hard to explain. After years of pain, being told “everything looks normal,” or that it wasn’t serious enough — this surgery proved that my pain was real, and it was significant.
I’m incredibly grateful for my medical team, for finally having answers, and for a body that continues to fight through so much. Recovery won’t be instant, but today I feel hopeful. Hopeful for healing. Hopeful for less pain. Hopeful for a better quality of life.
If you’re battling endometriosis or any invisible illness — keep advocating for yourself. Your pain is real. You deserve to be heard.
Thank you to everyone who has checked in, prayed, supported, and stood by me through this. It means more than you know.
Here’s to healing.
Update: Next Steps in My Health Journey
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an important update about my medical situation and what’s ahead. After meeting with my care team, I learned that the only surgeon in Texas who can perform my next procedure is out of network with my insurance. Unfortunately, this means that my next surgery will cost approximately $15,000 out of pocket.
This surgery isn’t optional — it’s necessary to address my declining health and help prevent further complications. Over the past few weeks, my condition has continued to worsen, and without this procedure, recovery and long-term stability are at risk.
I’m doing everything I can to manage the financial strain — exploring payment plans, insurance appeals, and every resource available — but the cost is still overwhelming.
If you’re able to share, donate, or simply spread the word, it truly makes a difference. Every bit of support helps me get one step closer to receiving the care I need.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported me through this journey — your kindness, prayers, and encouragement mean more than I can express.
With gratitude,
Elizabeth Price

My Health Journey & Asking for a Little Help
This isn’t an easy post for me to write, but I’ve learned that sometimes sharing our stories brings us the support we need most.
For years, I’ve been living with adenomyosis—a condition where the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows into the muscle wall, causing debilitating pain, extreme fatigue, and other symptoms that have slowly taken a toll on my daily life. Some days, the pain has made it hard to work, to enjoy time with loved ones, or even to get out of bed.
After many appointments, tests, and exhausting cycles of pain, my doctors and I have decided that a hysterectomy was the best path forward to give me relief and a chance at a healthier, more hopeful future. It’s not a decision I took lightly, but I was ready to take this step toward finally living without constant pain.
Unfortunately, even with insurance, the medical costs are significant—covering the surgery, follow-up care, and time off for recovery. This is where I humbly ask for help.
If you’re able to contribute toward my medical expenses, it would mean the world to me. Any amount, big or small, will make a difference and help lift some of the financial weight off my shoulders during this already emotional time. And if donating isn’t possible, simply sharing this post is a powerful way to help, too.
Thank you for reading my story, for your kindness, and for walking alongside me on this journey. Your love and support mean more than words can express.
