Support Liz's Journey to Recovery

My name is Robyn Enders and I am setting up this Go Fund Me for my lifelong friend, Liz Tredway Pack. My husband and I have known Liz and her husband Bruce since high school, even attending our senior prom together back in 1981. I am setting up this GoFundMe with Bruce's permission because Liz has suffered a terrible injury to her spine and her family is in great need of our help to get the things that Liz needs for her care. Here are some details of what she has suffered.

On March 27th Liz suffered a spinal cord injury as the result of a fall. Her spinal cord was severely damaged, requiring emergency surgery and as a result, had to have the discs at C4 and C5 on her spine removed; then screws installed to fuse her spine. At this time, Liz is unable to care for herself and needs round the clock care, which she is receiving from her amazing family.

Liz is unable to use her arms or hands, she requires assistance to sit up, to eat and she is unable to walk. We know that Liz is a fighter with an incredible zest for life and she is working hard with the help of physical therapy to gain some of her mobility back.

As many of you know, Liz is a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is a wonderful chef and Entrepreneur/ owner of Devine Catering. Your generous donations will help Liz be able to acquire wheelchair accessible transportation so she can go to and from rehabilitation as well as bathroom remodel to make it wheelchair accessible. In addition, Liz's family will be incurring enormous medical and in-home care expenses, as well as certain other unexpected expenses along the way as she strives to recover.
