This is Lissobieth (Liz, to those fortunate enough to know her). She is a Venezuelan immigrant who has been in the US legally since July 2022. Liz is a colleague of mine at ChromeBookParts.com, but also supplements her income with 2 other part-time jobs to make ends meet. Before coming to the US, Liz was a lawyer in her home country for several large oil companies, as well as a Project Manager. She graduated Summa Cum Laude at her university. She also holds certifications in a plethora of interesting fields ranging from wilderness firefighting, advanced first aid, radiological protection, and compliance and safety standards, to name a few. Liz is a badass. And a great human being. She always wears a bright smile and loves practicing her English. Many times she brings in home-cooked foods to share at work and they are delicious! Liz is a very talented and multi-faceted person.

Due to recent changes in the geopolitical environment, Liz, among all other Venezuelan immigrants under Temporary Protected Status, will be required to leave either in April or September of this year. Liz will need to start the next chapter of her adventure in April. She is unaware of this GoFundMe and I would like to keep it that way until we present her with the donations. The intent of this GoFundMe is to help Liz get to Spain, where her son lives. Every penny will go to fund her unexpectedly necessary move. Any contribution is deeply and greatly appreciated.
