Friends family and supporters: This morning I was struck with terrible news.
I am updating this page to inform everyone who has gathered here to support Liza of her sudden passing late last night. Those of you who donated already know she had a recent diagnosis of stage 4 cancer just a couple of months ago.
We are asking for continued donations and prayers to help support Liza's 5- year old son and her family through this tremendous loss. All of the funds from this fundraiser will now go to her family towards her funeral expenses and childcare for her son, as this has all happened very suddenly and the family was not prepared.
Liza was a loving, caring, and bright soul. She was a single mother, caregiver, nurse’s assistant, sister, and a wonderful friend. Her years of hard work as a devoted caregiver are recognized by all of the people she has come into contact with. She was a bright light who touched the hearts of so many people and will be greatly missed.
Prayers, thoughts, and condolences are also welcomed. We encourage any and all donations, big or small as we do not want any financial strain to worsen the terrible grief this family is already facing. You are able to do so by clicking the link below.
