Support Liz with her journey with Breast cancer

My name is Megan, and I'm Liz's best friend. I'm here to share her story and reach out for some help. Liz hasn't always had the best luck in life. From the start, she has faced lots of unexpected obstacles. Her daughter was born with some challenges and needed extra support. Due to religious differences, Liz was not welcomed in her family anymore. Soon after, her relationship with her husband fell apart. It's been Liz and her daughter ever since. This brings us to Liz's current situation. She was diagnosed in January 2022 with breast cancer. She then had surgery to remove the cancer in her breast in February 2022. During this time, Liz has been unable to work, and she doesn't have a car, so transportation has been a struggle. With the lack of family support, Liz relies on friends when available and wheels of hope. Although it is a great alternative, they are not very reliable.
Liz is just finishing her chemo and will move into radiation soon. Now she has to take a shot every three months called lupron. This ensures her body doesn't produce too much estrogen. And will continue for five years. The shot is $1,500.00, and it looks like it won't be covered. That comes out to $30,000.00! Then after five years, they may have to remove her ovaries. Anything will help cover the costs of simple, over-the-counter medication, ambulance bills and prescriptions to help with the cost of living and delivery of groceries.
Liz is the most selfless and amazing person I know. It is a shame that life has given her such a tough go, yet she still is a wonderful mom, supportive friend and kind person. It would mean the world to her if you could spare anything to take a little pressure off Liz.
I can't think of a more deserving person.
