Support Liz Steele’s (Chee) surgery and recovery

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I am reaching out to our amazing community to request support for our friend Liz Steele (Chee) and her family. After months of health struggles and working hard with the elderly to support her family, her pain became unbearable. After a trip to the ER yesterday and X-rays they have discovered significant degenerative changes in her shoulder joints as well as bone spurs in her feet. She literally needs assistance with dressing and cannot drive per Doctor’s orders due to pain medication. At this point surgery is likely the only way to get Liz up and working again.

Of course taking time off for surgery and recovery is a real financial concern as the bills will only continue to add up without her income coming in. But at this point Liz has no other choice. I know she would never ask for help so I offered to help her and her family so she can focus on surgery, recovery and back to being the hard working strong Mama she is!

Many of us know Liz and her family whether she was a friendly face at the Market who always made an amazing sub. Some of us are blessed to know her as an amazing friend or family member. I know I sure have!

I know many of us are struggling to keep up ourselves right now but even a small donation and sharing this will help, as well as prayers for a speedy recovery.
