Liz Maya is someone who brings joy and laughter to everyone around her. For almost 30 years, she has been a dedicated employee and manager at Flanigan's, always putting others first and making sure her friends and colleagues feel cared for. Her fun-loving spirit and kindness have made her a beloved part of the Flanigan's team and the community at large.
On April 29th, Liz suffered a stroke and was immediately taken by ambulance to Westside Hospital in Plantation. There, she underwent open-heart surgery and had stents implanted to address her medical needs. Now, Liz is in physical therapy in Aventura, working hard to regain movement in her left arm and learning to walk again. The road to recovery is long, and she will be unable to work for some time as she focuses on healing.
Liz's medical bills, therapy sessions, medications, and everyday living expenses are adding up quickly. As she faces these challenges, she needs the support of her friends, family, and community more than ever. Any contribution you can make will help Liz cover her expenses and give her the peace of mind to concentrate on getting better. Your generosity will mean the world to her as she works toward regaining her independence and returning to the life she loves.
