Today, I come to you with a heartfelt plea on behalf of someone who has tirelessly devoted her life to serving others and who now finds herself in desperate need of help. Liz, a dedicated nurse, is not only an incredible healthcare professional but also a courageous single mother of two children with special needs. Despite her strength and resilience, she is facing an overwhelming crisis—her home is being foreclosed, and she is at risk of losing the place she and her children call their sanctuary.

Liz has spent countless hours at the hospital, caring for patients with compassion, skill, and unwavering commitment. She has weathered the immense challenges of her profession, especially in recent years, as nurses have stood on the front lines of the healthcare system. Yet, she has somehow always managed to come home and give her best to her family. Her two children, Colin (13 yrs) and Oliver (8 yrs), require extensive care and resources due to their special needs. Medical appointments, therapies, and specialized education come with significant financial challenges, all of which Liz handles as a single parent.

The weight of her responsibilities, combined with rising costs of living and unforeseen circumstances, has brought her to a heartbreaking point. Despite her hard work and sacrifices, Liz finds herself unable to keep up with the financial demands of her mortgage and other expenses. She is now facing foreclosure on her home, the only stable haven for her children. Losing her home would not only devastate her family’s sense of security but also make it even more difficult to care for her children’s unique needs.
