My name is Liv and I am a teenager who is struggling with a chronic illness called POTS syndrome. My quality of life greatly decreased and my ability to do everything I loved was taken away when this illness plagued my life suddenly about a year ago. I used to enjoy volleyball and piano, but had to quit. Due to my condition, I’m unable to go out and get a job. I am stressed about making money for college and my future. A big goal of mine is to raise enough money to get a car. My mother is a single, working homeowner who is currently struggling. She has to work, take care of me and my little sister, and tend to my grandfather, whose health is rapidly declining. With my illness, I can’t do much to help her, so I’m turning to the kind hearts of others. I hate asking for money, but it would greatly help me and my family in our time of need, as well as put my mind at ease when it comes to stressing about getting a job, which my health has prevented.
