You never plan for moments like these when you turn your "OPEN" sign for the first time.
As everyone is well aware, shops all over the globe are closing their doors in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID19. We closed our shop on Monday 3/16 and paid our employees their paid time off through the pay period, and sadly had to furlough them. We love our staff more than we can ever describe -- they will always come first as we continue to put one foot in front of the other.
We are asking our community for support to help cover our basics while we are closed (rent and utilities). Although our Landlords (The Oddfellows) are a nonprofit who own their building outright, they are not interested in working with us during these challenging times.
Our online store (littlewoodfords.com) still has retail items and e-gift cards if that is something you would be interested in.
We know that so many of us are in need right now, and honestly a message checking in is more than enough. We miss asking you what the best part of your day is. We miss laughing with you and making up new special drinks for you. You are our best buds and have become so important to us over the years.
We will all get through this! We love you and wish you so much support during these tumultuous times.
