LITTLE Things is an ensemble abstract dance film that is about breaking away from our own personal cages and being free. Our story focuses on breaking away from societal expectations. It is a relatable story of how we can break free from our own mental cages, and once we break free, we can truly see the world. We invite the audience to find their own meaning in the story, hoping that they can break free from what is holding them back.
Our team are three film and television students at Savannah College of Art and Design whose work focuses on pushing bounds and creating professional work while championing diversity and equity in the film industry. We believe that storytelling should reflect all communities, and we are committed to showcasing stories of underrepresented voices. Our focus on inclusive narratives and supporting diverse talent in front of and behind the camera brings a fresh uniqueness to our project. Support us to help build a platform where every story can be heard and celebrated!
Message from our Cinematographer Gabreil Kegerreis:
As a cinematographer, capturing experiences is what makes storytelling such a wonderful experience for me. Learning to break out of the cage and be truly, and uniquely yourself is what makes everyone individually special. Without it, the world would be grey, bleak, and monotonous. Self expression and acceptance is an art, and to capture it in a way for people to experience and connect with is a true goal of mine.
