Lia was diagnosed with a large brain tumor located at the base of her brain near her brain stem. She has been hospitalized since Sunday, March 12, 2017 and is due to have surgery to remove the tumor Thursday March 16, 2017.
At this time it is unknown whether the tumor is cancerous and her recovery from her surgery will be trying, lengthy and many of the challenges she faces are currently unknown. We will update with information as it becomes available on Lia's surgery and recovery.
