Hello Friends! This November I will be directing a junior thesis film at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. I am supported by the talented team of Gi Gonzales as a producer, Colin Kerekes as a director of photography, and Maksym Mahlay as a composer. To make this story come to life we need to raise $2,000.
Our film follows Emilia, a young woman who survives a house bombing in Ukraine and is given one final, bittersweet chance to relive a Christmas Eve with her younger sister Slavka. It is a story of grief, resilience, and the enduring power of love.
Your generous contribution, big or small, will go directly toward production needs such as set design, equipment rentals, costumes, and feeding our hardworking cast and crew. If you’re unable to donate, you can still support us by sharing our campaign with friends and family.
We hope this film will open hearts, spark meaningful conversations, and gently remind us of the human lives and love that exist beyond the headlines. With your help, we can bring Emilia’s journey to the screen. Thank you for being part of our creative community and for helping us carry this story forward.
With gratitude,
