Support Little Bear School during covid-19

Little bear school is a preschool that has been providing a community for families with young children in San Francisco for the past 35 years. We offer a safe, nurturing and creative environment for children to learn and grow. My name is Christina Guglielmino and I've been a teacher at Little Bear School for the past 16 years. I am organizing this fundraiser to help Little Bear School and Betsey Brown who is not only a wonderful small business owner and school director, but one of my closest friends.



Like so many small businesses right now, we have shut our doors to protect the health and safety of our community. We need your support in order to survive.  While we were lucky enough to receive a PPP loan to help with our current payroll expenses, we still need help.  Along with a loss of tuition during the school closure, we have had to cancel our spring auction.   This is our Main fundraiser of the year and is what allows us to offer tuition assistance to families in need.  We are hoping to raise money for our scholarship fund for the 2020-2021 school year as well as cover any expenses that arise while we are closed and as we restructure our classrooms with new social distancing policies in mind. We are anticipating a greater need than ever for financial aid as families struggle to make ends meet during this health and economic crisis. We know that times are tough for everyone right now but every little bit will help.
