Support Literacy at El Paso High School

Greetings friends - The image above is of my grandmother in 1925. She left us a legacy of over 750+ pages of her own writings about the people from the El Paso barrio Chihuahuita and those from the neighborhood around Missouri St. and Ochoa St. As her granddaughter, I have preserved and published her writings and history in a recent book - A Story of Stories The Texas Border Barrio Life & Writings of Doña Ramona González.

On Sept. 26, 2024, I'm giving a book presentation to a group of 50+ students at El Paso High School. Unfortunately, the school has informed me that they do not have the funds to purchase a classroom set of A Story of Stories. So-I'm reaching out for some collective help.

Let's give the gift of reading and community literacy!
