Lita has been with me since she was 2 months old. She is now almost 13 years old, had 2 knee surgeries, and developed arthritis. She’s been having trouble keeping herself upright and is now at the point where she can’t even stand on her own. After many prayers and conversations, I have decided to do the merciful thing and let her go in peace, in the comfort of her own bed, surrounded by those who love her.
