Support Lisbeth's Journey to PA School

Hello everyone!

My name is Lisbeth Perez, I am a first-generation Mexican-American graduate with a dream of becoming a Physician Assistant. For those of you that don't know me, I graduated with my bachelors 3 years ago. I've spent the past few years learning in different medical settings and furthering my knowledge through courses in hopes of becoming a strong candidate. I've received wonderful news. I’ve been accepted into PA school, set to start in August.

I’ve created this GoFund me with the intention of raising money that will go directly toward my tuition, books, clinical fees, and living expenses.

Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will help me get one step closer to becoming the healthcare provider my community needs. I believe that diversity in healthcare leads to better care for everyone, and as a Latina in the medical field, I can offer a unique perspective that will bridge gaps and help patients feel understood and cared for. Mi nombre es Lisbeth Perez, soy una graduada de primera generación con el sueño de recibirme como asociada medica. Para quienes no me conocen, me gradué hace casi 3 años de mi bachillerato. He pasado los últimos años aprendiendo en diferentes entornos médicos con la esperanza de convertirme en una candidata sólida. He recibido una gran noticia: fui aceptada en la escuela donde completaré mi maestría (PA), la cual comenzará en agosto.

He creado esta campaña de GoFundMe con la intención de recaudar fondos que se destinarán directamente a mi matrícula, libros, honorarios clínicos y gastos de manutención.

Su contribución, por más grande o pequeña que sea, ayudará a acercarme un paso más a convertirme en la proveedora que mi comunidad necesita. Creo que la representación es muy importante especialmente en el sistema de salud, y cómo Latina, destinada a convertirse en proveedora, puedo ofrecer una perspectiva única que ayudará a pacientes a sentirse comprendidos y atendidos.
