On October 4th, 2025, my wife of 29 years, Lisa Ann Page, suffered a devastating stroke. She is only 56 years old and has spent 21 days in the ICU at Bryan West Hospital, fighting for her life. Now, more than 50 days later, Lisa is still in the hospital, stable but facing a long and difficult road ahead. She is currently paralyzed, has a feeding tube, and struggles with speech and mobility. Our lives have been turned upside down, and every day brings new emotional, physical, and mental challenges.
We live two hours from the hospital, and our only income is SSI. The costs of travel, medical bills, and the possibility of needing a home nurse in the future are overwhelming. I want to be by Lisa’s side as much as possible, especially when she moves to a rehabilitation facility, but hotel stays and daily expenses add up quickly. We are doing everything we can, but our financial resources are nearly gone, and we are facing the reality that we cannot do this alone.
If you feel moved to help, any amount would mean the world to us. Your support will help cover the costs of travel, medical care, and the many unexpected expenses that come with a tragedy like this. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support. God bless you.
