Support Lisa’s Recovery After Brain Surgery

In 2024, I underwent a brain operation that resulted in the removal of part of my cerebellum. Since then, my life has changed dramatically. At 68 years old, I’ve had to relearn how to eat, walk, and talk. I now use a walker to get around, and I’ve lost hearing on my left side. While some of my symptoms may look like I’ve had a stroke, I want to clarify that I did not have one. I now live in a senior living facility, which has been another big adjustment. This journey has been incredibly challenging, but I am determined to keep moving forward.

The cerebellum controls balance, and its loss has left me with significant balance issues. I am in need of a hearing aid, which I cannot afford, as well as other devices that would help me regain some independence and improve my quality of life. Every day is a new challenge, but I am hopeful that with the right support, I can continue to adapt and thrive.

Any support would mean the world to me as I adjust to these changes. Thank you and God bless.
