Support Lisa's Journey to Healing and Stability
Donation protected
Lisa is a colorful and brilliant sister and friend going through a very difficult time as a result of Complex PTSD. While her struggles are the result of a traumatic past beyond her control, navigating a path forward built on healing and stability is an arduous journey.
Complex PTSD results in emotional dysregulation, dissociation, difficulties with relationships, negative self-perception, and loss of meaning. C-PTSD requires long-term therapy and support to address the layers of trauma and to help individuals like Lisa reclaim their sense of safety, self-worth, and well-being.
This situation has left her in a difficult place where she is struggling to cover basic living expenses because she is currently unable to work, making it hard to focus on healing and recovery.
The challenges she faces reflect not her abilities or will to recover but rather the weight of her circumstances. Lisa needs a financial boost to help her regain stability, reduce the stress of day-to-day survival, and focus on her mental health and well-being. She also needs the support of her friends and family to lift up her and help her have the strength to keep going.
Please consider making a contribution to helping her cover essential costs like rent and food and ensuring her kitties Zorro and Moon Racer have their essentials, too. This will give her the mental space and time to heal so she is not burdened with trying to figure everything out all at once.
If you are not in a position to help financially, please reach out to her - not to inquire about a deeply personal situation she is trying to conquer - but just to let her know that you love her or to send an uplifting quote, meme, book recommendation, or other form of support through a personal touchpoint. While she is far from alone, her diagnosis can often make her feel alone nonetheless.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity in helping Lisa get back on her feet. Your support means the world
