This year marks the five-year anniversary of my son’s death, a milestone that brings both pain and reflection. The journey through grief has been long and challenging, and while I have tried to find ways to heal, there are moments when the weight feels overwhelming. I have learned that healing is not a straight path, and sometimes, reaching out for help is the bravest thing we can do for ourselves.

I am hoping to attend a grief conference where I can connect with others who truly understand what I am going through. Being surrounded by people who have experienced similar losses offers a unique kind of support and comfort that is hard to find elsewhere. I believe that sharing stories, learning coping strategies, and simply being in a space where my grief is understood will help me continue moving forward.
