Hello! My name is Lisa Kelly. Today I make this appeal to all my family, face book family and friends, and all who wish to participate.
I contacted Covid -19 in January 2022. As many of you know, I was hospitalized 4 months and recuperated at home for 5 + months before returning to work in September. It was a long road and a tough fight but to this day, with God’s grace and blessings, I am still winning the battle. I have remained on oxygen 24-7 requiring up to 10 liters consistently to move around. My life has been filled with tanks and concentrators. But I won't complain. However after 3-4 years of hard work, I am being evaluated for a double lung transplant while in ICU due to the increased need for oxygen. I need to raise approximately $20,000 to qualify financially for the transplant program. These funds will take care of housing and medications required for the program. I am currently in the ICU at Emory Hospital fighting to overcome the RSV virus I am infected with. This virus is aggressively spreading through one of my lungs and requires my transplant to be expedited . I know that this is not the best time to ask but the need for this procedure is critical to improve and increase my quality of life. Please if you can, make a contribution to my account for a great cause, the life and future of Lisa Kelly.

UPDATE 1-22-2026
My transplant journey continues as I have been officially added to the National Wait List for a Double Lung Transplant. I am at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. I am at the top of Vanderbilt's wait list. To God be the Glory!
