Support Lisa's Fight Against Homelessness

I write this with a heavy heart, seeking your urgent assistance for my aunt, Lisa, who is facing an incredibly dire situation that my family is unable to alleviate. On April 27th, Lisa underwent the amputation of her toe and subsequently endured four surgeries to combat a severe diabetic infection. Despite this, the infection persisted, leading to the amputation of her leg below the knee on May 30th.

Before this, Lisa was working two jobs to make ends meet, yet financial stability remained elusive. Compounding her hardship, she lost her job while hospitalized, received an eviction notice, and had her electricity disconnected. Despite her efforts to seek help from various agencies, she has encountered insurmountable obstacles and remains in imminent danger of homelessness.

Lisa has applied for disability benefits, a process fraught with uncertainty regarding approval and the amount she may receive, if any. The threat of homelessness looms large. My family, already stretched thin, lacks the means to provide the support she urgently needs. Regrettably, our living arrangements cannot accommodate her due to space constraints.
